Thnks for the advice. I was just taken away by the BIKE INDIA Article on Nos. Any easy modification that can boost my top end as well acceleration?

These mods are the things which no tuner would like to disclose openly on a forum. For a rough idea of what needs to be done go through Joel's thread.

Nos is a dangerous thing to play around with. You do know what your maintenance cost will be once you go the way of the laughing gas right?

if you are really serious about modding your bike, try to get ecu remapped, or import one.
mod engine for higher compression, then some high lift cam stuff. sprocketing can give good results if your engine makes more power and/or more revs. |

My Advice, dont blow up an expensive engine with some dirty tricks. There are 100 other ways of going faster with gasoline alone. NOS is for outright race engines, provided they are built to handle the additional boost and abuse. All our indian engines are far from handling it reliably.

@Addy43
Bro,what joel said is rite. A single cylinder engine can never ever take the instant boost caused by NO without affecting the engine's reliability. Go for the mods which the members suggested.You said you fall back amongst your friends in racing.Clean up your act,practice a bit more on going a wee bit fast everytime on a corner(safely,of course),find out your friends' weak points during the ride and use it to do your bidding. Who knows,you mite be going faster even without any mods ![]() Good Luck and Ride Safe. P.S- Hit the gym for a better power-to-weight ratio!!! [ ] [ ]
