it has been used on international bikes like HD, and the Yamaha vmax or something.
issue with using it on indian bikes will be that the turbo lag wil be too much due to the low exhaust pressure by the small capacity engines here. Also the turbo will not spool up efficiently enough to pump in adequate air. Moreover it will affect mileage adversely so thats another nail in the coffin. Third - the cost of the turbo, plumbing to operate it etc,, will be too high.

There were rumors floating around a while back that there was an R1 running with a turbo in blore. Cannot confirm the source or authenticity of the information.

i cant say if it can be fitted or not but i can say one thing that the pain, time & money taken for fitting turbo on any bike can fetch a new bike.

small capacity engines do not make enough pressure to run a turbo
it needs certain amount for working moreover the engine must be able to withstand the new power which is developed you will also need highoctane petrol for a small capacity engine. in short if someone wants a small effcient setupt he needs to build from scratch on the other hand its a god thing forbig engine it can boost a noticeable amount of power there a turbo which boosts MT01 power to 180bhp from 90bhp ^^thats the thing can do |

For turbo'ing any engine you need to strengthen the engine's internals. You need to install titanium valve seats and titanium valve springs and all. Even the valves themselves need to be changed to much more tough ones. Throw in a forged piston, and then install a turbo. It will work wonders! For low exhaust pressure in our bikes, smaller turbos can be used. Or maybe two stage turbo can be used. The smaller turbo driving the larger turbo!
