Disconnect the petrol tube from the tank and with a syringe slowly add the mix into the tube of 5ml at a time. reconnect the tube to tank open the tap and ride for 10 Kms,and repeat the procedure till the mix is used up. . Not necessary you have to use up the mix all at one go..you can do it over several trips, hours and days..
used 5gm boric acid+15ml 2t with your mentioned method, it again blocking the carb. Got it cleaned yesterday.
And about the effect on engine, it works wonders.
Do any one know from where i can get acetone? Plz don't answer internet... Wanna get it localy

Glad it is working out for you and you are happy with the result.Pure Acetone is available as Nail Polish remover. Make sure the nail polish remover is transparent (without any coloring)or any additives....it will be printed on the label....To be sure of purity, you can buy pure Acetone from any Lab Chemical Suppliers at Rs.180 for 500ml.

Please clear my confusion - How to add it in a 2stroke bike?
1) Borik acid + acetone + 2t into the petrol tank (will it damage the plugs) or
2) Borik acid + acetone +2t into the oil tank (psr mentioned that "borik+2t" turns into a paste so it isnt recommended to add into the oil tank. Will it be the same if acetone is added ? )
3) Inject it through the petrol tube - as suggested by psr.

Thanks

Ok Guys - I have seen this thread in Team Bhp and have used the formula on my both cars Tata Indica and Tata Indica Vista Quadrajet. Its awesome. The steps that I followed

1. Things needed - 100Gms boric powder and 100 ml acetone (both available at the local chemist store) & your engine oil
2. First pour the boric powder into a wide mouth bottle and then pour the acetone into this bottle. Mix them together to form a thick paste.
3. Pour 200ml of engine oil in this bottle and stir it till it mixes completely with the paste. I used the Mobil 1 and had to mix it for around 20 minutes before it could mix completely. (Can use hand mixer too and that might be easier but wifey will not allow me to spoil her beloved tool)
4. Pour this mixture into the cold engine and take the bike out for a spin. Drive hard or acclerate hard. I drived the car for around 10 odd kms and reaching 100km / hr couple of times.
5. After the treatment you can use the car as a normal car. I changed this engine oil after pourin at around 3000 kms. Post that I have seen that the cars have run real smooth and the diesel clatter of the old indica is not present.

By the way I have also used it in my wife's bike pleasure but the quantity was low - 20 gms boric powder, 20ml acetone and 100 ml Oil. Hope this helps.

I'm going to buy some acetone today and if acetone+boric acid get mixed well I'll put it on petrol tank. If it won't mix I'll use the inject-in-pipe method.

Hi,

The boric acid and acetone will mix but they become a thick paste when they are mixed, hence I would suggest you that do not mix it directly in the petrol tank. By the way can you tell me what 2 wheeler do you drive and another thing is that Boric powder in Fuel tank will only spoil the fuel tube and chock it. If you have a two stroke vehicle where in there is no auxillary oil tank then you need to add only acetone in your tank. 2ml per litre of petrol and you will see the difference. I have done that in my RX100 and also in my P220 and there is noticable difference. DO NOT and I seriously mean it DO NOT ADD BORIC IN your petrol tank.

Regards,
Kailash

Oh man! Feeling like an donkey in mid of the garden..!!? Tried mix boric acid acetone as suggested by Kailashnj it became a paste (didn't knew before and i saw your post aftermaking the solution). So used inject-in-pipe method.
@kailashnj: it didn't choking the fuel tube but the carb.(because of this I've got my carb cleaned twice this week) And i'm using this in my kinetic Honda though she's got 2t tank but its not working.

I am not sure about the kinetic honda - but tell me how is the engine oil poured in the engine in your scooter - does it go directly to the engine or is there an auxilary tank.

I understand that the carb would be choked and that is why I was saying do not put it in the Petrol Tank.

We want the boric to stick to the engine parts and not the fuel tank and hence makes no sense if you put it in the fuel tank as there is no gaurantee that it will reach the engine and even if it reaches in the engine it will be in a very less quantity which means it will not sure your purpose. So its always better to add boric + acetone + oil directly to the engine oil to reap benefits otherwise you will not be able to see the benefits.

@Honda_cbf & Kailash - thanks for the update guys!!
@Kailash - If the Oil pump/Tank is working, in a 2stroke bike (rx135), then this mix should be added to the Oil tank??
