Thumbs up to make P220 growl!!!

folks...am just going to put forth a question to all the proud P220 owners (my P220 bros )...Like the way Joel is working on the ECU fro R15 [R15 Performance ECU, don't you guys feel the same could be done on P220? I mean, we just need pointers & help from people around, to really make our steed more charming, smooth, enough power even after 9K rev (the growling). There would be other mods as well which we can share here. Hope guys like Joel also pitch in & add his thoughts.

There are a few P220's pumping good horsepower over stock and blazing the streets of bangalore and mumbai. With a visible and punchy increase in horsepower.
All changes were mechanical, courtesy my cylinder head work and my exhaust system.
I do have the exhaust for the p220 which makes a world of a difference on the p220. electronics upgrade is not needed. They pull clean till 10.5k without a hitch after my upgrade.
Owners can post up the difference they felt.

@gd - Need a proper review from you man. Abuse that engine, try to demolish it and then tell me how it went

The engine is so bloody smooth. At a few occasions that I took her to the limits in the city has been Fantastic. I know streets are not the place to do something like this, but at times when you are at a traffic signal & that bug bites you, to just take off. I now need the exhaust Joel & you know I'm not much of a writer only a rider.

wow Abhay, you even managed to get close to 154 mark, dude...the exhaust sounds like turbo-charged, man...

@Joel:my stock bike gave me 129 KMPH (Bangalore highway), after which engine was shut off automatically. Now it's an FI system. Do you think something else needs to be done, apart from just the exhaust change, like you did for Abhay? Bike is Nov, 2007 model & clocked 39K in the odo.

The carb version is better. FI is alo fine. you will indeed get solid gains with the exhaust alone too.
