That's one thing always to be done. The moment someone starts honking impatiently, get down from the ride, without removing your helmet, approach the driver side, without getting too closer, tell them politely, you like to obey laws (wanna add spice, say "unlike few idiots who don't") & why did he honk? If he says, he wants to pass the signal, say OK & move to a side if there's a way, otherwise, tell him firmly, there's no way you could move & has to wait until the signal clears. You could also say that if you jump the signal, no one would pay on your behalf.

Forget it, the lesson that you learned for Rs 165 is damn cheap I'd say There're people who've spent in 1000's & yet to learn their lessons!!!

But more important than all this..NOTHING HAPPENED TO YOU...
You can buy any number of bikes in time...but your life is precious and you are safe...Thank God for that.

but there are many ways of shutting up these people..... the best I found was time to odo read..... I simply say, dude complete 19k in one year and then come & talk with me..... else you are not qualified or even worth to stand in front of me..... if you wanna do something, ride for non-stop 20hrs and then even think of uttering a word about motor-cycling..... I know there are many great riders out there and done much more than these things..... & those silly people don't even have any idea about those great stories.....

no use explaining them or try to make them understand..... they try to be ignorant and I become arrogant ..... simple now they talk, this is a crazy guy..... he does crazy things .....

all respect to you psr Ji..... even that is my dream to do this and many more years after that..... people like you are inspirations for us.....
riding has become a part of life..... its gives peace of mind and extra energy to tackle situations in daily life..... hope to pursue this dream if health permits and Angels guard.....

strokerama, first I was like wtf..... what is this guy writing ..... later its all smiles ..... you think of this line and a smile comes, a good way of expressing..... n your points were also good.....
danger is something which will not come knocking to your door..... it came come in any shape or size..... but being on two-wheeler increases this risk to many fold..... as mentioned by JakRap, all those snakes running after the chick-hen..... even as small as a stone can be dangerous on turns..... being on two wheels, is fun full of adrenaline..... but that is the fun part we want to enjoy..... and the safety is always in our hands..... you cannot blame any other person on the road for any accident, cause its the motorcyclists who suffer the most.....

so, its better to ride in your own safe power range rather than just show-off or chasing or proving something..... someone said -- its better to be late than never.....

riding a cycle on hills is fun..... just have to struggle getting up, and let it go..... good to hear about your cycling passion & experience..... cycling is always fun but a good cycle costs so much.....

n there are many incidents related to these traffic..... all these sumos & indicas, they drive a person crazy by their riding habits(no offense to drivers)..... they are always in a hurry..... & rich b@&tard& on their big vehicles always try to prove something with some other chick on their left..... the auto walas always try to race with other vehicles..... & traffic police try to impose rules only when they need money..... these things are common and they gonna stay forever..... it can improve but will always be there.....
even I had to pay one time just to cross the while line in signal .....
its just another biking day in india
