I have been querying for quite some time for replacement spares for my Honda Dio which are not available here in Pune inspite of the Dio being an in production scooter. There is a problem with supply of most spares for the entire ranhe of Honda vehicles. Previously Hero Honda had this issue. The grape vine says it has something to do with dealer margin on spares which discourages dealers to keep sufficient stocl of most parts. My experience is : spares are ordered as required. Have just mailed. Mr. Reddy western zone at Pune. This is a serious issue and needs to be addressed soon.
