For a 150 cc engine ...can r thinking use NOS ?/...simply NO, if u are thinking about fast 'n furious showcased nos...those can create upto 300hp power with a press of button..which any common sensed guy knws , is not possible for r15.
it doesn't mean we cannot use it in a 150cc engine...is it a small thing to create a 2-3 hp power increase for a 17 bhp engine...and many guys with so much mods like special cams, ecu, exhaust, etc...hav made an increase more than 21hp in r15 costing a huge bulk amount worth half of bike!! \So for the topic, i'm just thinking to use pure oxygen instead of nitrous oxide ...taking in account of producing loww power increase cheaply and safely.. nitrous oxide is used for its o2 carrying capacity (and certain other advantages, will be explained if needed)... eventually it breaks up during combustion to produce o2 to further combust all fuel at once giving spilt sec power.. unlike n2o, o2 is easily available anywhere ...so its refilling is easier and less costlier.. for installing use a small cylinder( mr.butler soda maker's co2 cylinder will do the purpose)...fill it with o2 , u will need a solenoid valve with a switch to inject the o2 when needed....o2 can be supplied to injection manifold, a tube from o2 cylinder put into intake part will do..fit the o2 cylinder at a suitable place....thats it...ur NOS is ready !! all these combined will cost u around 1000Rs to max.... NOTE: only thing u hav to remember is to use only nos at high rev..ie. when max fuel is injected..'n supply only small amount....veeeeeerrrry small 'n i mean it....u will be surprised wht a small amt can doo!! |

My world changed from smoke & 2T to ECM & 4 joke!!

Right, but, how do you intent to dissipate the sudden increase in temperature in the engine?

Looks so simple...not sure if it can be done....I know you are tech guy.....would you mind trying on some bike with this experiment and see how it works...I can give one of my bikes even to do these kind of testing

ok, great idea. But... Like argee said using compressed o2 is going to heat up ur engine and will cause detonation(unlike no2 ,compressed o2 is not going to do anything to cool down ur engine) And soon engine will be kaboom!.sure u want that?.
BTW..pure liquid o2 is that easily availabe? Frm Where?

![]() I am pretty sure he hasn't tried it. If he had, he would have found out the consequences of supplying Oxygen to the combustion chamber and wouldn't have shared it here

Who is charging so much?![]() The most basic upgrades available hardly cost approx 7-8% of the total cost of the bike and makes a significant difference in performance. You can have higher performance, which is very reliable and efficient for few more $$ and that setup will run for thousands of kilometers. Oxygen by itself doesn't burn...Therefore... I welcome you to XBHP.com. Please stick around and learn.
