Formally have now started my brand - Race Concepts®

Race Concepts (RC) is my reality after the years that have gone into development of 4-stroke engines for street and racing. Thats nearly 8 years now. All here have been witness to the performance results and with various national titles, the targets achieved till date have been truly commanding. From circuit to drags to rallies, the engines have all done their best. The performance has been an eye-opener in every aspect with 4-stroke engines.

Race Concepts will be a fully functional outfit with constant development of performance kits for the premium 4-stroke engines in the country. The development will also spill into cars and a few projects are already in progress. Results will be proven through racing and all the versions will be adapted for street. Currently, the development is in full swing for the drag and circuit - National championships for 2011. While also being involved with our MotoGP racing assignments - for the upcoming Moto - 3 (4-stroke 250cc single screamer) Platform for 2012. The technical expertise will be world class and unbeatable, to offer the best in class performance for our indian engines.

All the performance parts will be fully developed or co-developed with our technical partners, with most of it being developed in-house. No import kits will be sold and all the upgrades will be one of its kind. Once the website is up and running, all the kit products will be on display and goodies will be mostly a click or a mail away. Performance gains and reviews will be constantly updated to showcase the real-world potential.

As mentioned earlier, all the kits are developed over racing and hence the reliability standards are at its highest. Only with an exception of certain engines like the Bajaj p220 and Yamaha FZ-16 which are purely street machines, yet have good potential. The R15, RTR series and the Karizma are fruits of racing developments.

Achieving good performance and yet maintaining good fuel efficiency is the next mantra. I'm sure many here are already proof to this and this is with a constant effort to break the common myth of believing in getting low FE with power upgrades. The volumetric efficiency of the engine is enhanced with careful development and every street level of tune has an assured increase in FE. From the bigbore kits, ECU, exhaust system, cylinder head upgrade etc yet delivering much higher power output over stock. Also ensuring that the CO levels of the engines are very well under the limits and you are still contributing to the environment, just as close to as a stock engine.

The list of goodies for the various engines will be announced as and when its due. Newer models like the CBR250 will also get its treatment shortly . Over time, all the performance products will be reviewed by the media too.

What started as a humble beginning on a humble Fiero has got me this far. My sincere thanks to this community and all the members here for the extensive support, appreciation, motivation and feedback. It could not have been otherwise.
