Motorcycles have the same braking power as cars, but have a harder time braking on wet pavement.
Not true. Cars will be having more braking power.

cars and bikes have same deceleration but since a car has much more contact patch on the road from 4 tires which are not as rounded as motorcycle tires , a car can be made to stop way quicker without losing traction ..

It's probably a very good idea to use your brakes for slowing down on the road than just closing the throttle and using engine braking. This would allow the vehicles behind you to slow down accordingly as they would notice the brake lights on your bike. If we just use the engine braking to slow down, the vehicles behind may not realize that you have slowed down before it's too late!

Hi Pinaki,
Instead of using the hand signal, the bike company has provided with indicators which is much effective & i beleive that anytime we are cutting lane its the riders responsibilty to give an indication by using the indicators. This will not only alerts any vehicle coming from behind but can also save you from an accident whether big or small.

Using a hand signal might distract the rider or take him off balance.

Basically for me safe riding would be to ride at a normal speed of 50-60 kmph or little fast as required.
Give proper indications by using indicator.
Honk only where applicable (i am against noise pollution)
Give way to a speeding vehicle.
Dont try to be schumacher & race against everyone (the road is not a race track)
