Mostly the price u pay for is the R&D cost. It takes a lot of money to develop a new bike.

What you say is true, although what is being asked in this thread is more like...why does a Zmr which is basically a fuel injected Karizma-R with bigger fairing and digital consoles costs almost the same as a Nano. There is nothing much about Zmr engine or chassis and such. They are as basic as can be.
