Default Fuel

Hi,
Need to knw if this a fact or a myth :-

Filling fuel early in morning gives you denser fuel with more molecules to burn hence increasing the mileage of your bike...!

the morning time the fuel is cold compared to afternon or evening
since liquid expands on theating there may be a difference of 2 or 3 ml beteween morning and later
therefore its better to fuel in the morning and night than any other time of the day

^^^ Hearing this for first time I've always obtained the same FE no matter what time of the day I fill the fuel. Need to see if there're some interesting facts coming out!!!

Same here, since we have a puny 10+ liter fuel tank we do not notice any difference I suppose.

its true... but 3-4 ml per litre is too little to make a difference in FE

Sounds strange but this is fact... You get better mileage if you fuel in morning. But we don't notice it. Any comment from someone owning an RX100 or sumthing similar would help better, as the diffrence between both situations (morning & other daytime), will be countably clear in their case.

I ve read the same myth some where else also. Not sure where. But as HarishK pointed out, the difference is negligible because of the puny tanks. Only trucks and buses which fill up their tanks with a lot of diesel can appreciate the difference. For everyone else, its negligible.

As i heard if you go to fill petrol early in morning , you will not get quantity as on meter as the pump is just started so more air will comes with petrol .
