Mods: Can we please have this thread as a Q&A one, with all comments cleared out? It would help budding enthusiasts like me to put up queries with the more seasoned technically and get answers without having to browse the whole thread?

I have looked far and wide on the net for starting on motorcycle technology from scratch, but basics get limited to how-things-work website and a Honda Common Service Manual. This is an good opportunity to dedicate a thread to serious technology and performance modding discussion.

PS: No offense meant to anyone (deleting comments n stuff)
