i have done some simple cosmetic modifications on my P180. My P180 is April 06 model and is just 40km short of 40K mark.
List of modifications done includes: 1. Changed front and rear alloys. rear is now 15" and front 16". 2. changed front and rear tyres. both are tubeless and broader. rear is 130/90 and front is 100/80. 3. Changed seat to 2 piece like P200. 4. Racing stripes similar to Apache RTR. 5. Side indicators of honda Stunner 6. open chain cover to accomodate broader rear tyre. 7. headlamp assembly of new pulsars with white headlamp. 8. Rear grab rail of P200. 9. Rear view mirrors of Apache RTR. 10. Parking light circuit. 11. red paint of rear shock springs, front disk pad holder and foot peg holder. 12. Laquer coating. All comments/advices/ideas are welcome. i will post some more pics as soon as this post gets approved. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

@sijusid: And how do you feel about the ride quality and specially the handling, now that you have changed the OEM tyres with those behemoths?? Kindly share the ride-experience as well. That would help those who are contemplating these kind of mods on their machines.
![]() @blackprince: You mentioned that you've replaced the 'main-stand' as the previous one was faulty. Could you please elaborate on that a little, as in, what did you mean when you say 'faulty'..

As i changed the rim also, i had to change the sprocket. i dont know the exact details about the sprocket, but i can surely say that there is no noticable drop in pickup, but yes , there is a marginal drop in mileage. Quote:
i have also created an album showing the modification in detail. check out http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/members/...fied-p180.html |
