Default Monoshocks V/s the twin rear shocks....

Any day the monoshock will beat the pants off the twin rear sets, still the 'indian' biking scene don't seem to adopt this on high end bikes and it's been a high time......

Honda gave it to the indian biking with the Unicorn, and now YAMAHA is providin it in the brilliant R15 and the FZ16.......(the FZ havin it with 9 settings!!!)

the twin sets provide max of 5 settings and that too never seem to make any diff....

Japs are givin' them no indian manufacture seem to adopt this...(two giants TVS and BAJAJ)

though it'll be costing more and the new frame and the rear swingarm development that'l surely be making bikes little more expensive but that'll be definately money well spent....

cuz when it comes to the working of the monoshock it'll be providing a uniform damping as the twin shocks cannnot work in the same state of rhythm when it comes to cornering and scrappin that foot peg, cuz the side at which the bike is leaned, that shock will be working more as compared to the other one.....

BAJAJ should have given it in 220 atleast and TVS in APACHE RTR FI....

C'mon guys......

what if someone ACTUALLY made a search on google ? 'Monoshocks V/s the twin rear shocks" ?

ill list the benefits
- Handling improvement, yes ill vouch for that since my cbz-x was better in handling after the mono mod.
- concentration of mass = again handling improvement (since the mono shock sits much closer to the engine than the twin ones.)
