Sell it there, they are easier to sell abroad, and why take the hassle of clearing etc when you are not going to make great buck. Besides you cannot sell for a period of two years after bringing it down.

Default Suzuki GSX R, Suzuki 250cc

Hi, this is w.r.t. the Suzuki CBU launch in India: The press release says the GSX R will be released in 2009, but can someone tell me which Gixxer-600/750/1000 will be released?
Also, any news on the 250 Suzuki was planning to release this year? The Ninja doesn't seem too attractive with no fuel injection or digital display either. Hoping for a nice one from Suzuki next year!

I wanted to ask a query for so long.
There was something mentioned in Kawasaki ZXR manuals. Positive neutral finder. What is it?

First off, where did you find a Kawa manual and what're you doing with it?

Secondly, it's to help the rider find neutral easily when parking. When you roll in and stop, you downshift into first and when you stop you click the shifter to neutral. Once this happens, the 'box will not shift into 2nd. Finding neutral is a lot easier this way.

Dude, if a GSXR will be released, it would be 1000 first. same CBU way. Expect it Rs. 10.5+ Lacs ex-showroom ...

Secondly, reliable press links confirmed that a 150cc & two 250cc (one street & one Sbk type) will be released by Suzuki by year'e end.

Now, the GSR 150 became a reality. We are so, waiting for the 250s ...

Default Myriad shades of CBR

Guys,

just came across this 04 RR Euro edition with an American Flag sort of color scheme (first pic). Infact these are the HRC colors and this color scheme was only introduced in the european market. Traditionally, these colors had never done too well in North Am, hence, Honda desisted from introducing them there.

Don’t know what the response was but I do see quite a few of these machines in UK. Personally, it looks quite different in a good way. Although, it definitely takes some time getting used to esp in the Indian context where most of our SBK’s tend to be in darker hues.

Honda again revived this color scheme in 08 by introducing a limited edition HRC Red, White Blue in the Japanese market. You never know the 09 might see this color spread to the west again.

Just yesterday I sent an email to the guys at Honda enquiring about their launches. As a response, all that I could generate from them was sometime in the near future. Not that I was expecting anything different anyway.

^ This is the allied nations' color scheme! I read this in Cycle World. The red-blue-white is allied nations' flag colors.

@Rossiter:
Allied nations flag, well not heard of that one before. But what I know for sure is that the color scheme also belongs to HRC.
