Yup. Have seen it happen on my Uni.
But my explanation provided for badly made CBF150s and not precisely configured YZFs

a Q for grey market import bikes : when you buy a grey market bike , is the bike registered in your name or you gotta wait for 2 years for it.(After TR)

Yes if its a legal import... No if its a illegal import. As simple as that

?
It is illegal because duties are not paid in full. The bike is difinitely registered in someones name.

The companies do a third party insurance but the only problem that you can face after you put up a claim is the cost of parts , since its not available officially.so the insurace is useful only in case if you hurt someone in an accident and he puts up a claim against you under the MACT.(Motor Accident Claims Tribunal)

P.S. : SBK owners , please add your comments so that we can know these things in more detail

I am planning to upgrade to a pre-owned 600 cc machine in the future. Already started saving up for the babe, but one thing's nagging me a lot: will I be able to get a decent mechanic in the city? The city is small, but does have a couple of Busa's and a Harley, though I haven't seen them yet. Does maintaining an SBK is a big deal that a regular expert can't handle, given there are no major glitches?
