Well, then answer is very simple - Ducati 1098. It requires services only after each 12,000 kms have passed. But then, it's way expensive for many of us...

The 2 japs (R1 & CBR) do require good maintanence. However, for other bikes, or older models of these bikes, maybe some older members might post some info ...

That Ducati costs 48 lakhs! Just buy a Honda.

Firstly, no new & legal 600cc officially available in India right now. Usually, I hear 8 Lacs, but right now '09 models might cost about 9 or so...

If you Cl!ck "Classifieds" or "Buy Sell", it will take you to adverts section, where you can easily see Xbhp members who are Bike Dealers ... You can contact them for more details.

Second hand is owner, condition & legality dependent.

You can take such a bike from Neo_da1 bro's reference. He has purchased an R6 from a dealer and is quite satisfied ...

I advise taking R6-s, the 2005 model of R6 with more road suitable features.

It depends on what "least" is. But like Bladerunner says, a Honda is your best bet.

@Blade: You're talking about the 1098R which is 48L. There is the 1098S on offer.. which is 24 if I remember correctly.

@Samarth: Am glad to see you posting something with good content nowadays.

I recently read somewhere that you control the twin cylinder bikes with power and torque while you control the four cylinder bikes with revs.

Can anyone please clarify?
Thanks!

Do you mean an inline twin or a V?

If that is correct, then that is a decent price considering the current pricing of Sbks.
