@ Manson thanks for that tip
the catch is i am gettig a very good deal on a 954rr with the custom authorities but the problem being it does not have a key...that's wat it's all about
also about the US spec thing; it's having something like RE2134 on the plates so not quite sure of the origin of the bike

you can find out about the bike by it's VIN(vehicle identification number).

Well, if the bike has a H.I.S.S. system, it will have the same written on the ignition barrel and probably a small decal of the same on the tank too.
If it does, you can always get the ECU Stewarch mentioned, if it doesnt have H.I.S.S. all you need to do is have your local locksmith cut a key for you, or order an O.E.M. brand new complete lock set for 89.99 USD which comes loaded with two keys, ignition loc, tank lock and rear seat lock.

i highly doubt the booking amount is 50% as i read they were giving a max. loan of 70% of the bike's ex showroom price.

Is it worth all that money for a bike , maybe ......But when i was a little kid(i am still not that much big) i always dreamed about having a SBK and the first bike that would come to my mind would be a R1 and it still does ,
so for ME is it worth all the money ? i would say every penny is worth spending on it.........
