Wrong timing or HT leads gone kaput or his spark plugs' porcelain/ceramic is cracked. He better check if the pugs are firing at the plug's end and not with the plug cap removed. Something must be wrong with the distributor motor otherwise. Or it might be loss of compression because you said the bike lags if he twists the throttle suddenly. But the last reason mentioned is very much unlikely unless the valves have been fiddled with.

Well you know he's more of a show off and less of a person who has passion for his machine so all this tech would sound like Russian to him! LOL!

hi all xbhpians....

i dont have a proper subject to write still want to share with you all something..
Bhubaneshwar the capital of orissa has no. of bikers with increasing no. of xbhpian day by day ...This is the favorite STOP for bikers who travel through GOLDEN QUADRILATERAL but has very little recognisation...

With in last year or two not only the bikes and the bikers but a no. of superbikes have been "burning the roads" of bbsr..The SBKs include
A vmax
a intruder
2 busa"s
r1
cbr600,1000,
2 harleys etc
You all can find some of the pics in XBHP BHUBANESWAR thread ..
so BBSR keep rocking and ride safe

Default sbk info

hello fellow xbhpians..im from bangalore and im new here.
guys this is my 1 st post and this might be little repetitive over here but i must know this before i choose my 1st sbk.
after a lot of thinking and convincing my dream to own a sbk would come true.. but im really really confused. let me explain my dilemma
as i mentioned earlier this would be my 1st sbk, so should i think of going for a 2nd hand 600cc? but is there really a legal used 600cc bike in india?
or should i go for a 2nd hand 1000cc? my personal favourite is suzuki gsx1000r [ the 2008 white bike... kick ass ]... but since suzuki launched gixxer only 6 months back, is there any 2nd hand showroom bought gixxer available? i hear that all other gixxer 1000s imported are grey, is it true?
so now my only option is r1 for a 2nd hand which was released here bout 2007 i guess... i was a huge fan of the r1 but i heard r1 has serious heating problems and few ppl who ve riden it say tat it has a more aggressive posture and hence difficult on ur back and wrists.. this has made me negative on the r1....

now guys plz plz help me choose.. my budget is a modest 7-8L , preferably 08 or 09 models IF A 2ND HAND... wat say guys

I am looking for a sprocket set for fireblade. Only sprockets, not the chain.
