Default INFO : Decipher your Chassis and Engine Number.

Inputs taken from a very old bajajpulsar-yahoo post,

eg:- chassis number is DH VB JF 46427

1. DH - stands for the Pulsar 150.
DJ - would be for the P180.

2. VB - chassis.
GB - Pulsar engine.

3. JF - This means Sept 2002 (year and month of Manufacture).
The J means the 2002-2003 financial year. The present 2003-2004
financial year would be K. 'I' is not used.
The F means Sept. A=April, B=May etc

4. 46429 - This is the serial number. This means that my pulsar's chassis was the 46429th chassis that was produced.

Hope this is interesting.

No hard feelings buddy, but selling off pulsie for a kari coming from a guy who has set up this real shooter of site for pulsar ( and other bikes of couse )... i would have been happy selling my pulsie too if the bargain got me a much more powerful bike ... sad, as u rightly said.. there is none in india.. so i'll grant u this one [8D]
