Nice to see you all here. Can you tell me what brand helmets and other stuff you get in Nepal? Any information on Jackets/gloves/knee guards would be of help. Also what bikes do you get to buy there apart from Indian origin. Any RX100?

It would be nice to know what's there across the border. Thanks.

You get most Indian bikes and a few Non descript Chinese make bikes there.. While I was there for Holiday back in 2007, I was riding on a hired YAMAHA Enticer. Riding through those himalyan roads there is a true expeirence and the terrain is quite challenging at places...

Hi Sriram,
These days Index, Snell and Studds are famous and taking the almost whole market due to their cheap price. Jackets/gloves/knee guards are a bit expensive! Teku/Tripureswor which is located in Kathmandu is the only city that sells whole sort of bikes and accessories that are available in Nepal. Bikes available here are of Yamaha, Bajaj, Hero Honda, Honda, Hartford etc. Biking commune is emerging day after day!
