The sizes mentioned on the website refer to "UK" sizes. This is the same as what is more commonly known as "Bata" sizes. Our shoe sizing is quite accurate to these standards. Another point: Orazo boots are wide-fitting, so there is ample space around the toe region. So, if in doubt, you may like to choose the lower size.

I have also in the past posted that if after all this, when you receive a boot and find that you actually needed a boot one size bigger, or smaller; and you return it in the original packing, we shall exchange the same. For record, though, there has not been even one such occasion so far.

Guys, I have purchased the Orazo Coot Size 10 Water-"Resistant" Black color.
All the bills and stuff was in place.. The package included only the shoes and an original bill.

PROS:

(+) Lightweight but strong toe edge. My sister stood on it, and I couldn't feel it, due to the steel toe.

(+) Toe area is very spacey and comfortable. No sweat/ irritation even after hours.

(+) Excellent Grip. One of the Best I ever felt on shoes, including those branded ones.

(+) Overall looks are good, except from front (read in Cons).

(+) Material, Quality, Fit and Finish is great!

(+) High Value For Money, specially when those Bata's & Action's have no such features.

(+) Delivered on due date, alongwith the bill too.

(+) Feedback is good for a safety shoe. Gear changing & rear brake, all under control.

(+) Formal Appeal too, especially the black version. I can use them in College.

CONS:

(-) Takes some time getting used to. Seems a bit bigger sized than than Size 10.

(-) Looks somewhat strange from front, like those fat Charlie Chaplin shoes. But not a big problem. Can be better styled overall, keeping in mind today's times.

(-) I know its for bikers, but it's a bit uncomfortable for brisk walking, running, etc.

(-) Grabs attention among other footwear, so you might still not want to leave it outside a Temple or so...

Now, I'll use them everyday on my College Commute. Durability is the factor left to see, but I think it won't disappoint me there too. A 1 year warranty is there, but it might last longer too... Let's hope for the best.
Thanks to Sir Old Fox, burnrubbernotsoul and Mr. Vir for helping me out.

Overall Feedback: Very positive. Recommended for Road Bikers who want to be safe!
Although, not appropriate for any racing - on foot or on bike.

Default Address of the store in Mumbai

These shoes are heavy and you can even kick a wall with full force, yet there won’t be any damage to sole or our toes. You don’t need a protection pad for the shifting area. These are real tough.

But the pad part is, don’t take this shoes to track. They completely lack feedback and also with these shoes it’s a bit difficult to position your feet in the peg when you are about to enter a corner. The thick soles are the reason for it. Also you are bound to lock up your rear brakes very easily due to lack of feedback.

For normal riding and walking, ya, its pretty good. But people with sensitive feet, pls stay away. The feet will sweat like a pig and some might feel irritation in the feet, if you happen to use normal socks.

The one I have, had, will look similar to Coot all black. If you guys need, I can post the pics.

@Samarth 619 : What satyen told is true. Steel toe shoes are real tough.
@Satyen : All the field employees in my company are compulsorily made to wear these shoes. We have a branch in Mumbai too
Hi GP-Freak,

Can you post the address of the store in Mumbai. Are such shoes available in certain areas of Mumbai ? I am planning a visit coming Sunday and would like to know the places where i can get around 6 to 8" high ankle shoes, primarily for bullet riding. Would be great ful, if you can post the address/area of such shops. Will they be open on Sunday ?

Regards,

Default Horrible experience with Orazo

Hello all,

Thought of sharing one pathetic buying experience from orazo (::Orazo::), the much acclaimed riding boots wit ha reasonable price tag.

I have read few [posts on Xbhp where in few senior members have used the orazo boots and lately xbhp have been associated with them too as orazo have been sponsoring few events like (Best blogger, Ducati ride etc)

On 16 December 2010 my aunt placed an order for Orazo Picus (UK size 9) on their website. Order ID : 175. Received the confirmation mail about the transaction and it clearly said the delivery would be made within 14 days.

After the 14 days period has gone by I have tried contacting Orazo by phone, via email , left a pm on xbhp for the orazo guy, posted it on facebook wall of Orazo. But everything in vain. Then I received a email stating the tracking no with First Flight Courier. After that I have not heard from Orazo or First Flight and further attempts to contact either of them has been in vain. The tracking number status is Pending.

Its been 20 days and I have not yet received the Shoes. We all know at times
unavoidable circumstances pop up and delay is inevitable. But then there is a way to let the customer know about it. Sadly both Orazo and First Flight has been nothing bit horrible in terms of Customer Service and Shopping Experience.

No matter what this would be my last affair with both of them and I would definitely not recommend both the mentioned brands to nobody.

Will try to contact both Orazo and first flight again today. I have paid 2328 out of pocket for it, and every penny matters.

Hello Madmax,

We understand your anxiety in not physically receiving the boots within the an anticipated time frame, but the charge of not receiving communications and updates is a bit out of sync, given the following mailtrail with us:

UNQUOTE

The last response from Orazo was on 3 January. 11.10 am

Further, if you track the shipment on First Flight website, link to which is:

First Flight Couriers Ltd.

You will notice that the boots were despatched and reached Hyderabad within 14 days (by 30th Dec). If there are some logistical issues with delivery, while we are in touch with them to expedite the process, it would be a great help if you also chase them in Hyderabad.

regards

@above.

Please kindly edit the above post as it contains confidential information like mobile numbers, bank account numbers, official email addresses, postal address etc.

First Flight courier is nothing but pathetic. After calling 20 odd numbers and endless stretch of emails, its been confirmed that they have the package at one of the branches. Will go and pick it tomorrow.

Thanks
