Default Diesel or Petrol Wash ?

Was Reading up on Chrome & engine Cleaning,some Places Say clean with Diesel & some Petrol

which is right ?

Which Prevents Rust Better ?

I cleaned up yesterday with kerosene, as I've seen the washing center people do it. It takes off the oil stains and mud easily. Just get a small, hard paintbrush and you're all set to go.

PS: A second wash with shampoo pouch (Chik, Pantene, H&S) would be advisable too.

^^^ using those Shampoo's will damage or fade the paint in the long run

use Car Shampoo's

with Regard to the Topic: i think Diesel Seems best,Quality & Adultration of Kerosene is Always Questionable

but once u wash ur bike with diesel/kerosine..... after two days they catch too much Dust

As per your original question arvindraju, petrol, diesel, kerosene whatever you use will clean rust. Shampoos (Even car) do not clean rust. But none of these will **prevent** from further rusting. You need anti-rust protective agents for that.
