Thanks guys for your comments .

Credit goes to Joel . It all started from.

Me : "What if the engine blows while touring"
Joel : "no da nothing will happen shove the big bore in that's more than enough. nothing will happen."
Me : Lets shove it :P

Wont you ever get sick of the roads to Madikeri? Damn! You are always there!

and BTW, I had a chance to ride navnishs R15 along with Santoosh's stock R15, and there's quite a difference between the two. I could not take it above 6k rpm but testing it till 6k rpm was enough to prove that the low end torque had improved, something that is inexistent on stock 15s. \

You did mention that this is the same block used in the R15 class race, does that mean that reliability is race standard ? Will it hold up to long hours and many many kms of touring?

The cylinder is modified for the race track. Joel should able to comment on this one.The cylinder should hold touring . I did a small 200km continuous dash and the bike performed really well. Was crusing at 120kmph most of the time till now touch wood no issues. Soon am going to do a bangalore - pune run then will come to know if its really reliable enough.

I will give some figures after we dyno the bike and do some testing with the speed gun, that should give a clear pic of whats happening.

Update

So far 780kms done after the engine rebuild . And the bike is feeling better day by day .
