I might sound very stupid, but sometime back i had heard of this thing called PIL(Public interest Litigation). I just want to know wether it can be used against the absurd import rules laid down by our Govt

I dont know much about it, has any one got any idea? Can this be of any relevance to us?

think about it .. this is to increase their TRPs
even celebs are human and can make mistakes ..
what about the prostitutes ? do the media cover that ? is that legal ?

i want to end by saying

IF WE YELL ON TV SAYING WE NEED HIGHER CAPACITY BIKES ..WHO WILL WATCH US ? SOME COMPANYS ? WILL IT BE PROFITABLE TO THE CHANNEL ?
WILL THEY TAKE A RISK TO BROADCAST US ?

they will only do what makes their pockets heavy

The purpose of imposing import duty is to discourage importing (by consuming locally made products, we create jobs and value for our country, which is generally good).
So govt. is levying duties to protect Indian Auto Industry as a whole, which is more important for govt. than satisfying 'performance' needs of rich few.
