Default How often does one look back and accept I was wrong?

Damn when I see those accidents happen in front of me.
Why animals are not spared and crushed with little that one feels anything for them.

One will be shit scared if he even scraps past a person.
One gives bullshit even if he goes over a poor animal.

Its not that you sacrifice yourself for the sake of the animal. But it is also not that when one can avoid the fatal fate of that poor being, one passes that thought down the drain and say "Damn that thing came from nowhere I could not slow down only". One satisfies his guilt by saying to himself you were not at fault and he smiles and move ahead. It becomes talk of that day for the person as he says "I survived" forgetting "I killed".

It’s just that I have seen some people take this matter too casually that I am writing this.

Drive responsibly not only towards yourself, but even towards others "ALL OTHERS".

Pleasure Riding everyone.

I've seen few car drivers mercilessly running over dogs most with absolutely no regard for the animals' life. Nothing like that with the bikers. Bikers do swerve off or stop if they're going slow but the car drivers dont seem to care. Sad.

The thing is that this country is full of people who think they are the lord of the streets and can do anything they want to!
they dont give a damn to what happens to the animals who accidentally come on the road ,
their mentality cant be changed in a jiffy until some external forces are applied on them! I hope you can understand I am saying,India has the longest written constituition in the world ,but tell me who gives a damn about these laws?
Everywhere there is corruption.
Anyways back to the point you cannot change the mentality, people will do this things until they feel guilty!

Rahul...yes you are right...these people who rides and run over an animal doesnt even turn around to see what his condition is...forget about having a bit of sorrow for the injured animal.
You know how I feel, I feel like tying them around on road and then runing over them again and again...and thenh asking them ...Hey %$*)&*^% how u feeling?

Only because these animals cant scream, cant abuse, cant call for help doesnt mean that we dont respect them. I make it sure that I do slow down or atleast shoo the dog away before me or anyone can run over it or cause an accident.... its really saddening to see that we as people dont respect lives of other living things... which is what we are facing in our day to day life......
Global warming, sunami, floods, droughts and all natural disasters.. science can do the best and the most impossible thing..but hey nature bought us down to this earth and we cant mess with her, if we do the tolerance level will be seen and then we never know what nature can do when it retaliates..

well god give rest to the soul of all the animals who die in road accidents and give some sense to us humans who think they are above all.

I know some examples where people have lost their eye or some limb trying to save some animal on road. While I try to save their lives, I must admit I am no more particular about it.

In a car, it's a different experience alltogether. A dog or a goat will not make you fall off if you hit it at speed, but on a bike, everlything is trying your skill to keep the balance on two wheels. You say cars don't stop for crossing dogs, what will you prefer, a car in front of you going at 80kmph suddenly harsh braking and swerving all around and may even hitting you, to save a dog who is too stupid to realize what happened?

I love animals bro, but I love my life too. I understand this is a sensitive issue, but please think from both sides. I personally brake hard and honk loud to avoid hitting any stupid animal, but I do not hate the ones who don't. Heck that will be one less menace on the already dangerous road.

a reaction from a celebrity or a politician or from a rich person---
we can hit poor people and we can go free........ we have the power to kill animals and just walk free........ and animals on roads........ when-where-why....... oh now we have to care about animals which runs on roads........

this may be due to corruption or maybe due to anything........ people hardly care whats running on roads........ they have money and contacts and power and other things required to get them out of that mess........

so Jiski Laathi Uski Bhaish (Power belongs to whom who has a Gun)........ but people hardly thinks that these power will not save manking from the wrath of the Mother Nature........

This happened yesterday night, while I was returning from office with my wife as pillion. I was not riding it fast. A dog that was sleeping on the dividers suddnely jump on to the road, I had to really brake hard to avoid the animal to come under my bike. Dog just missed by a a whisker...I thought that I ran over it.

What would happen If I have applied the brakes a second later, Dog would have certianly got killed, and Me and my wife would have fallen off. Thinking practically, I would obviously try to protect my wife and myself with little compromise on killing some animal, Ofcourse there would be lots of guilt that I could have avoided.

Still, Its not under our control to avoid all such things. And India where roads are narrow, people are more along with social animals around, these things are common. It basically boils down to the priorities that we do at such situation. I may be selfish, But I would definetly dont want to see myself or my loved ones injured.
