got it from here:

ACF-50 ANTI-CORROSION BLOCK COMPOUND from Aircraft Spruce

it has nice sweet smell & leaves a oily coat on the metal surface.

my avenger silencer is prone to small rust spots if i leave it idle,i clean my bike & give it spray with this,no rust spots

Hmm... the silencer quality must be very poor. But does the ACF 50 remain effective on the silencer? Asking because the silencer is bound to get very hot in operation.

You bought it online from that site? Do they ship to India??

Default Spray Paint for Silencer

Just noticed a big patch of rust and smaller bits on the Unicorn silencer. Since its raining heavily in chennai the past few days, sprayed some WD-40 and covered the bike with a proper silver cover. Is it advisable to remove the rust a bit deeper with wd-40, rub emery sheet (fine quality) and use black spray paint can?

Wasn't sure how the paint would react to the heat on the silencer and if would be effective during heavy rains. Spray can (Kobe acryllic, thailand product) is around Rs.200.

The silencer has a nice existing matte sort of black finish, so is there a spray can with matte finish as well? wouldnt want to ruin the look with gloss paint.
