Petrol receipt from home state within last 6 month is a proof good enough to prove you are touring and not staying in the guest state.

Just before where Mueseum road hits St Marks road, there is an adventure goods shop where you will find bungee cords.

As for the foot pump, you can borrow it from me!

one query @ ALL : if someone is doing an interstate ride... and he is in some X state albeit his bike is registered from Y state.
so is he liable to put up NOC document as well ??

because as far as i know one cant ride permanently in a state where his bike is not registered ??
and if he is caught up by cops he need to shown some Noc documents ?

throw some light on this anyone.
You can stay in that Y state as long as you can furnish proof that you + bike weren't in state Y 30 days back. So, you should keep fuel bills from fillups en route handy. But there is no problems faced in this regard in Ahmedabad/Baroda though as my buddy there has been using his Nasik (MH-15) registered CBZ without any problems for the last 2 years.

P.S.: If you wish to stay longer, you can get a friend to speed-post fresh receipts with your bike no. on them every 25 days.

P.P.S.: NOC is only valid for 11 months and has to be renewed by taking the vehicle to the registering RTO.
