Lovely, always wanted to see one in person. Maybe we could do that sometime?
Locking the front and flipping is the worst experience you could err experience.

There was one in Bangalore, white color. Is it the same by any chance? Or have you imported a new one / got another?

A little smoke off the back tyre would be OK too!

Hehe Moto, yeah you can turn this thing just by modulating the throttle or rear-brake

The bike is a 09 (fuel-injected) model registered in Bangalore. I am the second owner.

                            A Short Ride Review:
I rode it back from Bangy last Sunday. Even with full rear preload, it's a wheelie-hound. It's the easiest bike to ride fast. Super-light, super-flickable, and awesome suspension and brakes (29 cms. travel in the front and 30 cms. in the rear, so bad roads or no roads are no problem at all). It is so confidence-inspiring that one can use the throttle and rear-brake to turn this into corners. At first, the really tall stance feels awkward but the first time you go fast around a corner, all doubts disappear. This thing can out-handle EVERYTHING I've ever ridden and one can ride it on its ears all day long. No monkey-like hanging-off or weight-transfer required. I call this the "lazy-man's sportsbike". And as it weighs 140 kgs. dry, even a supersport-600 feels like a heavy pig after riding this. The fuel-injection is spot-on and feels as good as the best carburetted setups. Outright power is not much; around 60 hp. The short gearing gets it to 140 kmph REALLY quickly (the powerband begins at idle LOL) and it cruises best at 130 to 150 kmph, but top speed is around 180 kmph only. But show it a bunch of twisties and it's GAME ON suckers! Who needs 200 bhp when you don't have to slow down for the corners?

Now for the bad part: I was told not to expect Japanese-like reliability from this but thankfully it has been well-behaved till now. It's a fairly new bike (less than 5000 kms.) and will continue to be well-looked after, so hopefully reliability won't be an issue. It did the 850-km run at a constant 120 to 140 kmph without missing a heartbeat, at an overall fuel-efficiency of 26+ kmpl, which kinda surprised me. Even owners outside India rate it higher than the equivalent KTM and Aprilia as far as reliability and fun factor is concerned.

It's LOUD. This is probably the only bike in which the aftermarket exhaust makes the bike quieter LOL.

The instrument console is said to give up the ghost prematurely on some bikes. Thankfully this bike does not have that issue either.

The gearshift is flawless when the bike is in motion, clutch-less upshifts are no problem at all, but it can be a real pain to find neutral when stationary. This is not a clutch issue as I first suspected.

Body panel plastics feel cheap, but I think this is done deliberately so that they can be inexpensive to replace. Most owners drop this kind of bike way more than they would a super or hyper sport.

Even in matt-grey it's an attention-magnet. I just tell everyone it's the next Karizma

I am happy I didn't buy a 200 kg. liter bike that would have just LOOKED fast, sitting in my garage because I wouldn't have been able to ride it to more than 10% of its true capabilities. This thing is FUN WITH A CAPITAL "F".
