even bangalore's first r1 is due to arrive in 5 days (white red ), according to bangalore wheels ,yours must be the part of the cosignment which seems to have landed in delhi ,anyways i will be in the showroom to take a look at the "one " for sure,
red -white is 2009 edition ,is yours confirmed 2010 r1 (full white),if not yamaha india maybe trying to sell u its 2009 old stock ,sad.

If its 2009, I will return the bike. We have been promised 2010, and that is what we have booked. Are you sure its 2009 ? How do you know ?
Can anyone tell me how to differentiate and know for sure which year the bike is of ?

yamaha did it when they launched the r1 first, they always were selling the 2007 model till now, they were fooling customers that it was the 2008 model, the black 2008 r1 was graphite(matt black) its not glossy black like the ones they were selling even last year, the blue 2008 models had gold wheels not black wheels like the models they were selling here. We get euro spec superbikes cause of the norms & the 2008 r1 is a matt black, so i wont be surprised if yamaha are trying to fool the indian customer again

simple go to the yamaha european website & see if the white is the same as the one u are getting, if not go to the 2009 model section & check there. We get the euro models in india.
