Thumbs up Hayabusa 2010 My Black Falcon

more pics added on page 32 regards

Currently driving down in a taxi Delhi - Chandigarh with so much excitement inside me i just cant seem to control so thought
of writing it down

First question Who am I

Well im kabir singh from chandigarh to put it simple i have been following xbhp since i was in 12th class its a great
portel which made me feel i was not alone who thought that bikes were far better than cars and that nothing could be
better and exciting than riding a bike .The sound the feel the vibration just everything about it used to give me a high

the first bike i learned was a pulsar 150 ( my friends brand new bike i still remember his face when i used to konck off the
motor by realesing the clutch fast)

my father (another biker by heart in his younger days )has a cb250 superhawk twin cylinder honda 86' model
but as he is in defence i never used to get to see it but then it finally came to chandigarh and that night at 12am i quietly
sneaked out of the house and took it out for a ride what a rush !!!!

i got addicted to it .... it was my drug my escape from everything in life which used to pull me down but one day i finally got
caught in the act have to say this in hindi "MERI BAND BAJ GAYI!!!

anyway dad gave me the bike on my 19th bday but after a couple of accidents in 3 months

bike again went with dad

anyway life continued finally convinced my mom to let me buy a 180c avenger aka eliminator and had awsome fun on it till
one day had a bad accident (skidded across in kanpur on a rainy day tryin to save a small child who was crossing the road with
no guardian)Child was safe ( still in his own world ) but i got a wrist fracture

and the bike again got confiscated ( sent to dad )

i was told when i get a job i can do whatever i want till then :P a box with 4 wheels and a safety belt hated it.....

now finally have a job for past 3yrs soo......

HAYABUSA aka The Legend Aka The GRAND Daddy of bikes

It all started 2 years back The R&D for which bike to buy

I was always fan of superbikes my fav.... well i must say it had been hayabusa and 1000rr for a long time but .....
till they changed the design of the cbr well its still beautifull ( better looking than hayabusa as many ppl say )
but somehow i felt letdown on the other hand the gen 2 hayabusa just grew over me ( in posters ofcourse )

+ i like long rides and wanted a sport tourer so didnt have to look much further than the hayabusa a bike a legend
a bench marker for speed and a tried and tested bike with more than 10 yrs of history behind it

my occupation is such that it needs me to be always healthy and in one piece
otherwise paychek stops coming at home so mom used the emotional
and the logical reasons to tame my dream ..... ( at least for sometime )

work started taking its toll and my innerchild was screaming everytime i came on xbhp.......

than i saw our ram aka hey ram post on xbhp and it just inspired me (the final blow)
a guy who has a family ,so deep in his work
and with so many resposibilites almost 10- 15yrs older than me can follow his dream than why not me

i just called the bank the very next day and the process starts

THE PROCESS

Step 1. Can I own iT

well by this i mean do i have the moolah ---- actually no!! if i had to pay it all i would only have 0.00 rs left in my bank
and still maybe i cant afford it atleast at age of 24 :P

so bank is the only answer

HDFC --> my relations with them is quite good since my salary account is with them
now they were quite nice and helpfull

although i did have some problems in begining

problem no.1 > 13 lak bike -----> are u crazy well told them im not but wanted to be they laughed and this question
was never asked again

problem no.2> age ---> well im 24 yrs old so they had a huge problem with tht age criteria for them was 30yrs
they needed a co-applicant to this i answered that im sorry no co-applicant my only regret is that
i have wasted 6yrs of my life already i should have applied earlier :P anyway it was sanctioned off
once the head of two wheelers loan had a telephonic conversation with me i was finally able to convince him

problem 3> Salary---> it was not a problem so as to say but the thing was i only got offered 70% loan and i think it was
because of this but then again i dont know how they decide

so rate of intrest for me still negotiating it as of now 8.8% and processing fee .5%

STEP 2.

Dealer well ram suggested me chetan the guy from matrix (pune) had a telephonic conv. with him superb guy very polite and
very patient almost tilted for him but then my uncle who i consider my elder brother asked me that let him handle the dealer
he found out bitoo bikewala we shortlisted both of them as our final dealers now the only thing which made me switch to bitoo
was his location hes 15min distance from my uncles home in noida and chetan is in pune

so went to his showroom nice guy and saw so many paper clips of him a rally biker later on winner of raid the himalayas
and again a very genuine person the man loves bikes

gave token amount for booking and booked it today ..... for next 2-3 hrs i was numb couldnt feel anything and then the
pulse started racing and heart started jumping legs started shaking

STEP3
COlor ----> black with red streaks no questions about it dont care if i have to take extra care of it

STEP 4

Informing the family

Dad---> Not at all impressed
MOm----> IS super super angry with me
brother -----> thinks im the best thing tht has happened to him ( 20 min back his opinion was different and somehow i can see
horns coming out of his head wonder whts up with tht)

Step 5

Protective gear -->HAve to be really protective as planning to ride on delhi - Chandigarh highway and my entire carrer depends
on it Pictures on pg 3 and pg 4

Helmet --- White xxl agv t2 helmet a perfect fit with my head cloth

Gloves--- Carbon fibre Alpinestar

Jacket---Force Air Flo Jacket alpinestar

Boots--- S-MX 5 Boot alpinestar

Knee Guard--- alpinestar

bought all of the above from singapore trip

Step 6

Waiting ----> i think ram has explained more than enough about that but i think no amount of words can explain it
just to say my hands are still trembling and hair behind my neck are still standing and i just booked it today

i would like to thank you all at xbhp and ram esp. u man been a gr8 help

this website is simply the best i click on it more than google

holy cow, its raining Busa s on Xbhp.
Congrats man.
A super duper Hi5 on the gear you bought.
Do me a favor and start using the gear now it self if you have another bike.
Break into the gloves and jacket. Then the ride on the Busa back to Chandighar would be much more fun.
So happy for you brother.
Keep us posted.
Congrats once again

@ thanks a lot man

well it seems that way every dealer says he can finance through hdfc.... also someone told me only hdfc gives 2wheeler loans for such high amounts.. well canra bank is also givin so the above statement is untrue..... just found out yesterday as fellow member is getting his cbr financed from them

but for me i went direct to my bank after all easier to get loan tht way

@LoneWolf: Do share some photographs of your Busa with us, once you get the bike in your hands. I can very well understand how you might be feeling after taking the decision to get the 'Busa. As for the parents, I am sure as the initial euphoria dies down, they WILL understand too.

All the best. Ride Safe.

Can any one pinch me, am I dreaming? Or is it raining SBKs on xBhp.
@Kabir: It really feels great that after all these planning and plotting you are getting closer to your dream.
As always, do post some pics of the beast and what a list of riding gears you have, Nice
