Topic Locked.

This topic has been discussed to death over the past and it has always been a cause of confusion amongst many a people. Because of various taxes (penalty, import duties, etc.) levied by the Government to save the Indian manufacturers, the cost of these superbikes are so high.

No use really, discussing this thing all over again. We know how it really is, and I don't really foresee any changes in this, atleast in the near future. As for the Harley, their 883 Sportster is the cheapest official 'big' bike now in India with a price-tag in the range of Rs.8 lakhs odd. But, then again, it's a 883cc machine. Look at the bigger machines of the Harley, and you won't talk about the price difference!
