As the title says I am planning to purchase second hand super bike.

I am having some little problem that what to choose from hayabusa or R1 ?

I talked to a dealer he told me that the busa 07 - 08 model will cost you around 4.5
but you will not get the bill nor the R.C book.
then my friend suggested me R1.
then again I talked to another dealer and he told me that you will only get the R.C book not the bill because the bill was given to the RTO at the time of passing, and 07 - 08 model will cost me around 5.5.

I need some help from you guy's.
As I am totally new in the super bike market..

I can give you just one word of advise - Please stay away from illegal imports. A 2007-08 model SBK at JUST Rs.4.5 odd lakhs might sound really tempting at the moment, but believe me, you wouldn't want a headache after you've spent your hard-earned money.

Rather, try and inquire about any second hand legal R1s, et al if you can. But, stay away from the illegal bikes, please.

What is legal and illegal in SBK market
as I told I am totally new in the SBK.

How can I identify the legal bike ?

And what problem I will face if the bike is illegal.

as Aryan told....really the bike of 07-08 model is really make that the bike has problems...wat you face with illegal bike is that you bike will be sized and you have to pay a lot... you will have a lot of problem created by DRI....i had already PM you about the DRI.... so wait for some time and find a good...onw with clean papers and condition .....hope any sbk owner or mod will help you to tell about the sbk....

So whats legal ?
That which you buy by stepping into a showroom is legal.
This is a very simplified explanation but walking into a showroom annd buying the bike is a bullet proof plan of buying a legal superbike.
'Consider' everything else illegal.

forgot to address this.
Lets just say for now that you will be ass raped if you are caught with an illegal bike. So much so that it aint even funny.

You will end up paying 15 to 20 lakhs on a bike which you bought for 5 lakhs and yet you wont be its owner. G. of India will be its owner haha

as ten hut told that govt will be owner..that's for 100%sure.....you can get a clean second hand bike to..but i have to see in the market i will add you up in face book...or i have friend he will sent you a PM on this forum....he has few bikes....maybe he can help you...out... her is the photo of 2007 YZF R1....it may cost you 6++ legally...i am just showing you the bike it is already sold.....thank you
