Oh wow! My fav "R" series bike is here... and I only have a "R" status as pooR!

The exhaust looks crappy, almost as if it is melting away....! Otherwise the bike is hot!

I just like the evil exhaust note of the Gixxers. Not saying they aren't good. But somehow, the design is steadily going down...

Now don't look at me with raised eyebrows.

The Gixxer now looks like Megatron !

The colour in the pics aint the colour that is being launched in India though.

White and Black are the only two colours available.
I cant wait to ride this bike !

The gixxer is a little like Blade in its engine charachteristics.. considerably more torque in the midrange (like the Blade) as compared to the ZXs and R1s and it takes off in the high RPMs like a Panzerfaust (unlike the Blade)
What it lacks though is the low end (the blade decimates everything else with its low end power)
But what the hell...download a map and tune the Gixxer to deliver low end power and the thing will start flying.

This is gonna be one awesome bike.

Looks ? Subjective for sure..the canisters are fugly but who is not gonna go for an aftermarket can on a litrebike ? So its alright, a little too edgy for my tastes but unless u r gonna go back and forth in the town trying to watch yourself in the shopping windows you wont care much about the looks. Every bike's looks will grow on you once u park it in your garage. The bottom line is: HOW DOES IT WORK ? And I think the K9/k10 Gixxer is gonna kick some mighty ass.
Here is the K9 Gixxer fan vid. So awesome..

Pricing is fine and dandy too...hope the gixxer thread on xBHP gets posted real soon.

The " usual suspects " line-up is almost complete .When the mad quacker arrives to complete the "rice-rockets " grid. How about a "BULL**** stops when the flag drops " top-end test in our own country for a change .I mean ,a full-on 6th gear top end blast .As, at the moment there's no track big enough to exploit even 3/4th the potential of these litre class rice-rockets.

I'm really confused over here because no where I could find any specs and info about the "2010" Suzuki GSXR 1000. Even on the Suzuki International Site, the latest Suzuki GSXR 1000 that's available is from 2009, and going by Suzuki policy of 2 year production cycle, the next is due only in 2011.

I mean really I might sound a total dumb, but when exactly the 2010 version lauched of the GSXR1000? There is the '10 GSXR600 I know and also the anniversary edition '10 GSXR750, but the '10 GSXR1000.... I'm really scratching my head now
