Exclamation Need Help buying a 2003 Suzuki Katana GSX 600F

Hi... Guys..,

Need help in buying a 2003 Suzuki Katana GSX600F..,

How much can I shellout on a 2003 Suzuki Katana GSX 600F? thinking of upgrading to it from my existing Hyosung Comet GT250... test drove a friend's katana which is in excellent condition (7k on the digital odo, city driven not at all abused) everything in shape n with a Akrapovic exhaust can.

Any Katana owners in our community?? Help me out guys...

Papers - this is the foremost thing which comes to my mind. You wouldn't want to shell out big money and then stuck with the papers. Do check them out carefully, and only then think of getting the machine.

Something fishy.
And remember digital meters CAN also be tampered.
So, proceed with caution.

Anyways, the price by me would be around 35% cheaper than what he bought it for.

Its a 2003 Bike...and the Resale value will be as low as 50% of its original price.

Here the buyer has upper hand not the seller.

In resale market...Product make year is more important than the mileage it has done. 50% above is the cost and all above is profit.

@all... thanx for such quick responses guys..

The seller is actually a friend of mine n im very sure that the odo reading is genuine guys.... he owns 3 beamers, a merc n a VW beetle n doesnt even ride this baby... as a matter of fact he doesnt even have time to start it on a daily basis hence is selling it off... he is asking for 4L... :O ... i know...!! ive even seen some '05 cbr 600s in immaculate condition in hyd for 3.5L. So.., if everything goes well.., im thinking of closing the deal at 2L wat say guys? is it high or low? thow some light on it brothers... after all... its a 8 year old babe n which is out of production now...
