helloo guys...having tasted flesh with my 06 R1...so having sold it for more than what it was bought for!!!,it was time to move on to new hunting grounds on new steeds....but being a lone warrior i do not have my parents money to throw around...just what i got from my previous horse and enough more from digging holes in the ground!. ..but my queen wont allow me to spend 13 laks on a new one so i am forced to buy an 07/08 bike which i see the probability in my budget.
now lets get back to the real world...i want the gixxer 750 or 1000 07/08 model but i know that only the 2010 GSXR 1000 is the official bike.period. so does it mean alllllll the other gixxers out there are illegal or are there real ones in them too!...and the only other official bike i can get in this time perios are the 08 and 07 R1's sold in India.but as i have already rode one for 1 1/2 years i dont want to get on another R1...what should i be doing in this situation???

How about the SUZUKI Bandit? (New) i think it falls into your budget.

I am sure you can get a 1k gixxer with clean papers, but it might not be all that easy.
Any particular reason why are you restricting yourself just to gixxer? You can very well get a legal 2008 R1 for the same amount of monies. Or is it because you already owned an R1?

yeah thats the very problem buddy!..i know you can get but it will take some time and effort...yeah there are 08 R1's but its because of the same reson you said...i have already owned an R1 and that too for close to 2 years!!

Well. You might be able to get your hands on used gixxer 1Ks. The usual suspect SBK towns like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Pune, Bangalore should be worth a search. Remember, folks rarely put classified adds in papers for SBKs. So forums and sbk dealers/ mechanic shops will be your best bet. It will take some hunting and contacts.

or you may go for a second hand also ..if so i have heard that there is a busa for sale in orissa bhubaneswar
