Default My Short OTR with Yellow Hummer H3 & HD Road-King, Woods Fun Center in Austin Texas

Hi Guys,

I am visiting Austin Texas & the last weekend has been very eventful

on the Saturday I took out a Harley Davidson Road-king to Texas Hill country loop as below:
Willow City Loop, Texas

On Sunday Drove Hummer H3 for about couple of hours too.
Both the vehicles belong to Tom McKeone program director at AMD
I cant thank him enough to Trust me & let me Ride & Drive his priced possessions

Oh yea an other pal of mine Ashwin (Rocky) & his wife Drove down from Dallas to see the HD & H3 too, hey had a ball of a time.

Woods Fun Center is the Biggest bike dealership in south Texas, this is my second visit.

Let the pics speak:

This looks fantastic! Too bad though the Hummer had to be shown the door.

Nice pics Sunil. I loved the pics of the bikes. Choosing one would be most harrowing given so many brands and colors.

Hey Guys,

The HD & H3 belong to my Program director he gave it for a day, the showroom is wood's fun center & that has really lots of selection, What I have posted is not even a small sample of it as my camera stopped working with error 99 !!

I did ride the HD for about 200 Miles, its very torque, stable but Heavy not flickable for tight curves & has low ground clearance, if you blip the throttle while cursing at 65MPH thats all you need to overtake no down shift,

Cheers
Sunil

Yes, not doubts on the GC; happen to see a XL883 in flesh on road in Chennai a few weeks ago & boy!!! even on a smooth tarmac, I felt the exhaust pipes are going to hit the road. One of a bad pothole or poorly constructed speed breaker is sufficient to scrap the exhaust pipe for sure; this was XL883, leave alone Roadking.

Truly HD's are torque monsters due to the single pin cranks.

Fantastic Pics Sirji, what a collection Woods Fun Centre has, awesome. By the name of it I guess it is a bike rental shop. The Hummer's looking good too.

CHEERS,
G D
