Make a call to the seller and fix an appointment. Check the bike. Take a test ride. Check the papers. Negotiate the deal. Get papers transferred in your name. Pay up. Ride home wearing safety gear. That is how you should proceed on the deal. There is not much to it.

I'm not sure if they sold "Rossi" edition bikes in India but why buy a grey market bike if you can get a fully legal one sold in India for about the same amount of money?
You can then buy the rossi edition fairings or whatever and just slap them on! If it is a bike sold in India then find out which dealer sold it and talk to them about the service history. Ask for the bills etc. so you know what has been done on the bike in the past.

(1) No owner of a motor vehicle shall so alter the vehicle that the particulars contained in the certificate of registration are at variance with those originally specified by the manufacturer: Explanation.-For the purposes of this section, "alteration" means a change in the structure of a vehicle which results in a change in its basic feature. There is however, a provision which allows you to make alterations after making an application to the RTO in whose jurisdiction the vehicle is. (Like that's gonna happen) Now I normally wouldn't consider any of these rules on regular vehicles since no one pays much attention to them, but a Rossi edition R1, or any import for that matter, will inevitably attract the attention of police... so I'd want to have my stuff in order or be willing to shell out bribes. |

No problems really...just that they go much faster, stop much faster and don't turn like smaller bikes. Take it slowly and over time you'll get to grips with it.

Kind for that, but let me know what I should look further (regarding papers) what kind of papers, please explain me in detail so that I can ask the dealer to show me those and if the papers are correct I can own that |
