Here's a video of the famous ducati dry clutch assembly. I've opened the bike up, hoping to make some changes (gp style shifter, new pressure plate, open clutch cover). More pics to come soon. Also attached is a pic of my new suomy apex helmet. Love it.

Nice Ride and lid.
I love the Spec 1 R extreme series by Soumy. Esp the Cathedral paint scheme. Anyway, waiting to see more pictures of your clutch mods.

As someone who rides with and has seen a few ducatis crash or break down, I would highly highly reccomend not riding with an open clutch, especially on the road in india.
The dirt and dust will greatly reduce the life of the clutch which being open and 'DRY' is not the best idea to start off with unless you are purely racing. Even then , a small slide with an open clutch will without a doubt stuff it up. |

so the dust issue isnt much. The dry clutch can be cleaned easily.Plus there are many advantages to running an open clutch, the clutch runs a lot cooler, plus it helps to blow out the dust from the worn friction pressure plates. The closed clutch cover doesnt let any of that escape which eventually leads to clutch slip. This in turn increases the life of the clutch. Even in the rain the water gets thrown out due to centrifugal force so no worries there either. Plus it sounds like heaven Sounds like the Ducati mating call :P.
