Really dig the seats. How is it? Comfortable enough for the rider and pillion? If I may suggest get a back rest too. And please get a blacked out engine guard asap. Very essential.

On another note do the RVMs hinder or brush against the hands when engaging the clutch or throttle?

I test rode the Iron 883 and loved it. Pulls like a goddamn train and the fit and finish on the bike is fabulous. Initially i loved the yellow but the black won my heart. Rightly said, the chrome bits dont go too well with yellow. An all blacked out bike with yellow would probably look nice.
