Excellent choice of color - I prefer the black out HD's over the chrome ones anyday. Exception being the original chrome V-rod, which was absolutely amazing to look at. That looked like it was made of liquid steel!

These days I am getting attracted to Harleys - the black XR1200x in particular.

Really dig the seats. How is it? Comfortable enough for the rider and pillion? If I may suggest get a back rest too. And please get a blacked out engine guard asap. Very essential.

On another note do the RVMs hinder or brush against the hands when engaging the clutch or throttle?

Congratulations and enjoy your li'l ASHLEY.

BE SAFE and RIDE HARD.
Thank you.

The "Sundowner Deepbucket" seat is very comfortable compared to the stock seat. It would spoil the looks a bit, but pillion would feel very happy sitting on it.

Engine guard is already in the list, waiting for next month's salary .

RVMs are not a prob.

BTW how comfy are the pillion seats?looks like the pillion has to lean back yet there is nothing to lean on?
We can get "sideplates+sissybar+cushion" attached for the pillion. Just don't have any money for it .

I test rode the Iron 883 and loved it. Pulls like a goddamn train and the fit and finish on the bike is fabulous. Initially i loved the yellow but the black won my heart. Rightly said, the chrome bits dont go too well with yellow. An all blacked out bike with yellow would probably look nice.

So here's wishing you many years and miles of happy and safe rides.

See, if the pillion has something to lean on, the wife or the girlfriend wont hug you and sit na?
Its very scary for the pillion without the backrest... One of my cousin was damn scared during the test ride and was screaming to stop

Thank you. HD invests a lot on making paint look good. Saw it in a Mega Factory video...

True, blackout is the latest trend happening... XR1200 is a good choice with lot of options to customize in black.
