Default Comet Garage Ver VIII

Hi Guys,

I am back!! have been in bit by the offroad bug for the past coupe of quarters.

Some Video of the Comet Offroading:

I found Javad the SBK mechanic to come down & help me (actually execute) this round of fixes, he fixed My bike, My Bro's ZMA & Vaidee's Comet in a couple of weeks time frame.

List of thing done:

Carburetor cleaning & retune, now it has low milage but man it glides & zooms
Air-filter cleaning & oiled with the K&N kit
All Cables cleaned & lubed
Break Pads & Disk cleaning
Break Fluid Top up
Engine oil changed to motul 300V
Chain Cleaned & Lubed
Battery charged (I bought the charger its only 500 INR)
Levers & Bearings greased with skf
Spark Plugs cleaned
Wiring harness cleaned.

Many small but long term nagging Issues resolved
rpm light was not glowing
loose connection with the air horn clamps
Bar end mirrors not lock tight
The Clutch lever touching the guard panels
Relay check for the HID's

The vehicle now really glides & flys,
No throttle response lag at-all !!

in Fact when Vaidee rode my comet he started complaining that his is not tuned correctly, later after a week he said, the change from mine to his made it feel like that as he things its working fine now.

I am loving it & Thanks to Javad for the wonderful job.
unlike his bro Dr Irshad he dose not charge a bomb & the best part is home service (door seep) all tools are carried to your door step in a activa, every thing fixed right in front of you to your satisfaction & service charge seemed reasonable at RS 1900 for GT-250, I would highly recommend him, his number is 9980197889 give him My reference (Comet Sunil form XBHP).

Let the pics speak.

Vaidee's Bike

Cheers
Sunil

PS: I will keep this thread as book mark.

HI vkuchhal,

He has lots of contacts, and in the field for almost coupe of decades.
We can get alternatively arrange for parts via shipping/courier or hand carry them & request him to fix Issues as-well.

Cheers
Sunil

Thats must be the most taken care after Comet 250 in India! It has to be! With the introduction of the 650 and possibly the 250s again by Garware next year things will definitely get easier from a spares perspective for you.

Also, where is your helmet in the video! :X
