Default My Street Hawk is finally here :D

Hello Everyone,
Just starting this thread to share with u all the happiest moment of my life. i finally finally got my dream superbike " the 2011 Yamaha FZ1N"
Its been a tiring but an amazing journey to get here but i made it and im very happy here are a couple of pics enjoy also some observations

A note to the moderators im sorry to start off another thread here since the FZ1 ownership thread is already present, i always wanted a thread of my own so pls accept this and then after couple of day you can merge it with the ownership Thread Thank you

These are from last saturday:

Took the delivery today so couple of observations !
The bikes power is scary
It has a really really relaxed seating ! really comfortable !
Had a lot of people come up to me and just say that the sound is beautiful !!
This bike is not excatly ment for the bangalore 'Traffic" scene ! i had the temperature goin up to 103' C !!. But the fan kick in and all was good !
i initially rode it to a top of only 70kmph because:
A) Horrible bangalore traffic !! on a Friday evening !
B) i was shittin in my pants !! lol
The bike looks beautiful ! the pooja is done got the registration also done will get the number by monday !

Now the Restrictions !
This bike has come in a very difficult time for me have struggled to get acceptance of the family ( even after having the money) my grandmom is totally against it. so i have huge and i mean insane amount of restrictions on the bike so i dont know how ill run it in but i guess i will try my best

I realized im still not in the mature enough to ride a bike like this but i will learn to keep my cool ! the power is seriously addictive ! i mean the bike just wants to break free !

This is my first time on a superbike and my dream was to sit and ride my own bike and this has finally come true !

Here are a lot more pics (time of Delivery) : Enjoy !

Haha i love this pic ! "she" looks so cute doesnt she with the ribbon !

Thats me all stunned and confused

Mom cutting the ribbon off !

Finally i would like to thank Akhil ( Rossiter), Niks, harish and everyone on xbhp for helping me out, since im a noob at superbiking and want to seriously be level headed to ride the bike i look forward for your guidance ! Please do gimme your feedbacks whenever possible

For everyone who aspire to live there dreams all i can say is hard work pays off stick to it and you will realize this dream sooner than u think !

PS: will try to give updates whenever im free since i have spent a bomb on this will have to work extra hard now lol.

Congrats diehard.
Anyway, take it easy initially till you gel with the bike, so you know your limits & the bikes limits.

Ride safe and wish you many many miles of enjoyable ownership.

Nice true to heart words there mate.....congrats for your dream-come-true. Feeling of getting a superbike delivered to you is one amazing feeling which have no counterparts in the world. Not atleast in India
Really happy that a fellow biker got what he wanted. Happy biking.

Thumbs up

Congratulations for the bike!! It looks effin HOT

Exactly 2yrs & 13 days ago, I had taken delivery of my R15 from the same showroom (Perfect Riders), same person (Naveen), & used to get it serviced at the same service center in the pic (Perfect Riders). The mechanic in the pic (Nagaraj) is a good chap with the R15, but I'm not sure if he's involved in servicing the CBUs. I think the CBUs there are serviced by Venkatesh, Service Manager (if he's still around).

Wishing you millions of happy miles with the bike.
Do keep sharing pics & ownership experiences here.

You can also join the gang for weekend rides.
This is the thread for offline meets: The Bangalore Kadambam G2G Thread

btw, you call yourself too young for a superbike. So, exactly how young are you?

PS: With great power, comes great responsibility.

EDIT: Good to see Gurmeet uncle was there too. He's a delight to interact with.

My test-ride experience of the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post725556

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back;
and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
