Default Riding a dream : My New Honda CB600F Hornet (ABS):)

doing the dream...

she, starry nights, beachside, campfire, ashtray, her pair of slippers and a dream machine on two wheels…that’s what a guy’s dreams are made of (more or less) and so was mine…everything in the equation up there varied with change in age and maturity barring the machine…it was/is /will be – Honda Hornet CB600F (ABS)…an undying dream… from the time of watching it across the street store to gathering enough courage (but never enough money) to talk to the store owner to applying as wallpaper so to see it as the first thing when i switch on my system to endless discussions/debates with biking buddies comparing Triumph Street Triple/Honda/Ducati to finally owning on…yeah, I truly travelled a long way but the ride was worth it!

If I were to add up all the features I wanted from a bike, I had end up with Honda Hornet CB600F (ABS) with its…naked street-fighter look, CBR 600RR engine, outstanding power to weight ratio,104 bhp and and just 175kgs, aluminum frame, light weight alloys, honda reliability....(i can go on and on...)

Being the kind of guy who sneaks out of his bed at 4 in the morning just to look at his bike, owning a machine he ever dreamed of is truly mesmerizing and encouraging...an inspiration

I ride not to reach anywhere, but to ride... travel for travel's sake because the greatest affair is on the go and life’s always better on two wheels…ride on!

dream unveils here...

...and xbhpians whom i cant just thank enough for just being there - Satyajit (the calls and the emails), Mehul (without u around the pix just aint cool enough), Dhiraj (the IMs), Vishal (i forewarned u), Manan (theres one in yellow too), Aneesh (the updates and emails), Sachin (indeed a dream)

Believe...

In 1999 as a 18 year old first year engineering graduate ...Rode the Honda Hornet 250 (inline 4) at Central Garage next to college in Mumbai ( was quote 2Lacs for the bike). The owner of the place, Kishen roa was kind enough to let me ride it as well. That day and this day its been long journey having owned ZMA and ZMR in between

Sweet ride there. Congratulations mate. Would advice you to get an almax chain with ground anchor and tracker installed on your bike. London is full of motorcycle thieves.

Hi Mohsin,

Congratulations on getting your dream bike. As they say, all things are possible! And Your dream certainly was...

I would like to ask you what's that "R&G" component attached to your bike in one of the pics. Is it something aftermarket, and what does "R&G" mean?

Congrats again...

Hi Mohsin bro

As Dhiraj bro said, You are the first person from xBhp who helped me a lot regarding my bike and helped me to decide which tire to buy. and the main thing is the guys who send me spares for my suffering Karizma Special thanks to Mohsin bro and Dhiraj bro. after that we keep in touch and you shared a lot of knowledge to me and still its going on...

Even you had told me that you are going to buy a new bike, didn't expected it to be soon. Now i am surprised to see that you had got the bike and that too a Sexy Honda Hornet CB600F(Angel). Congrats for your new bike and happy to know that you hadn't forgot about gears.I cant see the pic of Helmet,Where is it?

Enjoy and Ride Safe! and keep on updating. Its time to start an Ownership Experience Thread.

Thanks brother, I forgot to mention:

R&G is an after market product.the product near the engine is the R&G crash bobbins and its also got R&G tail tidy( which removes the long mudguard, the indicators fit on it and makes it look sleek)

The 180 section rear needs to be seen
