Post My 2011 Suzuki Hayabusa

Hello People
My name is kay and this thread revolves around my September 2011 hayabusa that I just picked up.I though this would be an appropriate way to start my interaction with this forum and fellow members.
Background :
I ve been riding for over 16 years now. Started with a 84 rd 350 HT . Moved on to a 95 rx100 and then back to an 86 rd 350 lt. In 2007 a friend picked up a hayabusa and got it over. I was absolutely stunned by the size and persona this thing exuded. Rode it over a period of few months and fell in love with it. Also cemented by love for bikes over cars for good.
Fastforward 2011: I left the country in 2008 to satiate my academic juices. Would come back for brief periods , work on the 2 stroke and be happy with it and go back. Then in 2010 i rode my friends busa for over 2000 kms in 2 days. And thats when I made up my mind that I am going to buy one as soon as i head back to india. However there were 2 things I had in my mind. One , if i want the bike i want it asap as I cant wait for the 4-6 week turnaround time and secondly I will buy the busa and then maybe ask/tell my parents/friends that I am thinking of picking one up. Convention dictates that logic and busa dont go well with elders in India.
Got intouch with a dealer in delhi on 6th sept and told him I need a busa and i need it now. The more time i had to think about it the more skeptical i was getting with the purchase. Pulled some strings and picked up my bike on the the 7th itself.
The feeling dint set in for the first few days even though i ve ridden it for over 600 kms since last 3/4 days. But now i know i have a busa and thought would pen this down so that i can share my experiences with the bike and maybe able to exchange suggestions/ideas/views with fellow rides. Will have the pics uploaded as soon as i figure out how its done . cheers

Thanks guys. My bike is pearl white in color. I had picked up frame sliders and front axl sliders when i was overseas along with a tankpad. I drove the bike from delhi to chandigarh the next morning. The "break-in" period playing a spoilt sport as i cannot take it beyond 5500 rpm in any gear for the 1st 800 kms. On a side note a karizma rider was hell bent on racing me and would come parallel and let go of the throttle. I dint know how to react so i let him be . After sometime he rode off like stoner cutting through cars/trucks. I heaved a sigh of relief. Upon reaching home physically i felt as if i had been in the ring with brock lesner but mentally i had a feeling of being in the arms of scarlett johansson. Talk about mixed emotions. The pics come up tomorrow.Just cant get hold of a decent camera.
