Default Brett's CBR 400 RR (New pics posted)

Hi Guys,

Today I met our fellow xBhpian Brett and got the chance to see his '99 CBR 400 RR. I gotta tell you - This is one of the cleanest bikes you will EVER see..... Brett is a self confessed bike freak - and it shows... He's got 6 different types of waxes and polishes for his bike... Even a separate brand of polish for the windscreen!!

Ok, first things first - We met up at Bandra Reclamation at about 7:00pm and we spent quite some time talking about his bike and the other bikes he has seen and rode before finally settling on this 400RR. As usual, Mr. Forgetful (ME!!) forgot my digital camera at home so I had to resort to my trusty 7250i for the pictures... After that, Brett asked me if I'd like to take a ride on his bike

He gave me quite a long ride on it today and its without doubt THE smoothest 400 I've rode....ever! All thanks to his meticulous care... He's even got a custom Titanium Micron exhaust slip on! When I started her up, she purrrrrrrred.... but give her some throttle and that Micron can turned that purr into a ROAAAAAAAAAAR!! I was so addicted to the wail of those cans that I took it twice under the reclamation bridge just to hear those screaming echoes

It felt so good getting back on a Honda 400 after soooo long... makes me wanna shoot myself for letting go of mine... eitherway, THANK YOU BRETT for bringing back good memories! We definitely will be meeting again soon... and then I can put up some better quality pics. Until then, here are a few pics from our meet...

This last one is very unclear but its me on brett's bike...

Ahhh.. Soulie bro, dont make me take sides man.... The FZR definitely had higher notes and was louder... this was more of a powerful purr... Both sounds have their own appeal...

Btw, the Micron can that's on is for track use only coz it was too loud... the previous owner got the sound restricted after fitting it on.
