just double check if there is air between the pistons thats causing the issue . sometimes the seals go in a caliper and that can be a problem. the pistons essentially dont want to go back and get stuck jamming the brakes.
true.. but i don know why they took 2 days and still couldnt fix it... i am doing it myself now...

well about the parts, i believe the pricing is not going to be that cheap cos the service manager told me that they are getting the parts from Korea and will be expensive...

alignment got a bit out in the lower portion, but damn, it looks good, plus it does what it was installed for

The good thing is that that atleast we are getting the parts from them.

A Comet was the bike marketed by Kinetic way ahead of its time.

Such a bike by now, may have ,
1.Braking Issues : The disc pads of this bike up front and back do not match with any bikes present in the market now.
2.Worn Chain and Sprockets : original does the best job.
3.Timing chain, valve set : I have to repeat the solution of point 2.
4.Dual carbs : Time to go Flatside by now, but still they need balanced tuning.

The GT250 is now FIed all over the world, except in Korea- the home country, where there are carbed variants for Asian markets......hence the engine internals along the carbs and airfilters and oil filters is needed to maintain this bike.

One of my firends got a Hyosung Comet GT250 recently, Got to go to Hyosung Garware to get the parts then .......

Noticed something with the bike recently... when i try to ride at anything beyond 80.. the bike keeps pulling back.. is this something to do with teh carb...

i had teh bike serviced recently and have ridden 1500km till now... any pointers on what checks need to be done...

Many things can cause such issue :
1.Check the spark plugs - needs change or not.
2.Check for electrical leaks in the ignition cable which powers the spark plug.
3.Check the air-filter for cleaning.
4.Has the fuel tank got rust ? - Rust bits may mix with fuel and lead to carb malfunction.
5.Does the fuel tank has proper drainage channel for water ? in case water from showers(natural or cleaning) may keep getting mixed with the fuel and preventing high combustion.
6.Do check the carb for main jet clogging or status of mainjet and if that requires cleaning or tightening. Also drain the carb of accumulated impurities.

Go for the above checklist and update, I am sure it is one of them
