Was just wondering, you guys don't have to go through the trouble of sticking front no. plates on bikes?? coz here the cops do create a lot of ruckus even for an sbk.. fellow mates correct me if i am wrong.

cheers

Why the person standing on the footpath along with his children even before that race and since morning organizers have full control whole spectators around 5000 spectators thr since morning along with full families include ladies and mothers but on the left side (sitting arrangment). The person who died in that accident is more responsible for his and his son's and daughter injury. Its a drag racing either its legal or illegal atleast common sense is something 1000 900 800 Hourse power monster car doing racings and a person standing on the footpath look more idiot either its me you or anyone.....

Anyway good organized even with extremely horrible ending
Its a tragedy!!! Really sad!!! However, as organizers you cannot shake off your responsibility by just saying that you cannot control people and people are idiots... where were your marshals???... the run should not even have taken place if someone is in the danger zone... at the very least the person who was driving should have aborted his run on his own under such unsafe conditions... is he even qualified to do drag runs (i.e. does he have required licenses)???... was this event even under the supervision of a recognized motorsports governing body... I don't think so... I can see from the photos that most guys on the bikes with only have rudimentary protection i.e. helmets, street jackets and gloves (some are not even with that), not even full leather race suit .... for gods sake, I even see a guy in shorts out there on a bike... if not this tragedy, your event was a disaster waiting to happen in some other way... imagine one of those riding a bike going down when he is on full throttle... drag racing is very high level skill that is acquired over years of practice... its not some brainless popping of clutch and twisting of throttle...

Don't get me wrong.... I am not criticizing.... all I am saying is when something like this happens its not enough to say that people are idiots and shake off all responsibility...

Agreed with your point of view. Infact this time and i think first time few riders have some jackets and especially helmet we are doing racings without riding gears since ages. This year 5 riders died in drag racing and around 20 injured in different stunts accident now riders have finally some awarness about to buy helmet and jackets. Inshallah with in year riders will riding with jackets and full safety gears soon.
