Nice photography, but those are definitely scale models. But knowing Sunny, you may never know he can actually come up with a shoot of the real bikes.

It was a spontaneous shoot. I had taken four scale models in the trip hoping that we will get some good opportunities to shoot them. We did get one fine one in the morning in Binsar right in the terrace where we were lodged. The background was fantastic. After some 'jugaad' we finally managed to build a platform where we could keep the bikes and took some photos. I wonder how would it really be to take these beasts with a background like this in India. Looks nothing less than the Swiss Alps minus the roads and the real bikes of course.

The setup : A tripod and a food tray balanced on it with the bikes precariously perched on the top.

Doesn't matter what the jugaad' was, but the results are fantastic. Loved the shots Sunny. Lovely backdrop as well..

P.S: I couldn't help but notice those black spots on the pictures. Is that dirt on the sensor of the 400D(?) that you use?

@sunny: Two questions here..

1. How to get the shining of twinkling star effect in the above pic.

2. What are those black dots...i mean some particles on the whole picture...

My questions may sound dumb...but i badly need an answer ...

@kriss:1. Keep maximum possible aperture to get he twinkling effect
2. th eblackspots is dirt on my 400D sensor. Did not get time to get it cleaned and have since i first started using it last oct from the Australian trip. Unfortunately many Binsar have it.
