Why don't you ride to Malad on an early Saturday morning, and maybe you could wait for a short while till the workshop pops open. It would be relatively less of a hassle than have the bike trucked which has its own share of risks.

Riding back on Saturday afternoon or evening from Malad..... I'd rather become a BEST conductor... hehehehe

They are open on Sundays so I could go there on a Sunday too, I'm trying to schedule a Sunday service.

BTW, it's around 50 kms from home, not 40.

Still looking as to where do i start from
back from Hibernation,I hope a few guys remember me

Got a chance to Ride a R1 for a good 45Kms on NH 1 few weeks back.
cant type in much since putting this down in office.

The first time ride experience was something that I just cannot pen down into words.

Where do I start from, the agressive riding position, the amazing linear power delivery,a never ending power band and what not.

First thing that surprised was the easy with which these bikes handle.
Okay I was not going to put my knee down as I was riding it on straights but it was so easy to wiggle it in traffic.
I was skeptical when i got on to the saddle and pushed the starter for the first time.
As the first two Kms vanished slowly,I never felt as I was riding it for the first time.Although every twist of my right hand had litres of blood flowing furiusly fast through my veins.

Talk about braking, the best I ever came across in my life.gave me loads of confidence.

With a beautiful road like NH1 to ride on.I opened her in last 3 gears 4th 5th and 6th.
And watched the speedo climb 110-120-130-140-150 where I gave up(3 year old AGV was not comfortable at those speeds).
its MPH not Km/hr.

The moment I got off the saddle,I started saving up dough for mine

The machine I got to ride(kindly excuse for pic quality as taken from a cell Phone)

Ok could not find a suitable page to post but this is really Huge. Guys do you remember a person named Sumit from Delhi who owns a P220 Silver. The most interesting part is that he doesnt have a leg (right). Yes boss I am not doing any crack or pot but he doesn't have a leg. He is a member of Kurrupt Ryderz Group (Delhi). He has been featured in Bike India too. Delhi Traffic Police has issued a special Driving License to him too. Guess what??....

GUESS WHAT??

I met him today at Okhla PBK. He has bought an R1. No, still not doing any pot or crack. 2008 R1 he could not get 2009. But he has confirmed that HE HAS BOUGHT AN R1 & he has adviced me to keep a watch on the next issue of Bike India

WTH?? For real? Yes, I read about this guy. and he had a modified P220 ...

But then, by what mods & how is he going to manage the R1??

This is crazy... Why would he want to do that?? P220 easily gives some 120+ real speeds ... why would he want a 290+ kmph R1?? Really shocking ...
