Why? Why cant a person who does not have a right leg have a passion for superbiking?
Whats so 'going nuts' about it? I'm proud that he chose a Superbike over some expensive sedan or an SUV. If he's here and reading this, I salute your spirit.... |

Sorry mate. could't resist. I'm off this discussion. i said what i felt. Period. Anyways kudos to the guy for having those guts and passion for biking. Having a SBK, touching it, sitting on it's saddle and if given a chance riding it.... NO WORDS.

End of the day, If I had one leg, I wouldn't be doing that, for sure! All I want is that fellow bikers should stay safe. When guys with 2 legs can't be 100% safe, isn't he just gambling with his life? I mean, such crazy acceleration might crush him, at one distraction-induced twist of throttle, due to lack of Balance. No matter how hard he tries. Reg. Spirit of biking, Our Passion's not about cc... He was a biker, whether 220 or 998 cc. And I still have respect for the guy, just that he should be safe.

There used to be a time when there was nothing in my life except motorcycles.
There used to be a time when i used to get really freaked out on thinking stuff like what would it be if i lose my leg's,or even my right arm ? How would i twist the throttle ? How would i shift gears ? Oh and i havent's even come close to sitting on my dream :O !I couldn't even think of ending my life without being able to ride one. Well, i would in the end come to the conclusion, whatever shit happen's i just won't give up until i get to command a multi-cylindered two wheeler.Yes,this is all about how you as an induvidual would look upto it.Your Desire.Your inner motivation. And i guess this Chap is just loaded with it.And i guess he won't give a damn whether you support him or not. |

I wish Ken da I wish. But one day shall fulfil this dream of mine. Moreso in coming years I hope most SBK manufacturers will start production locally making prices of these motorcycles comparable with rest of the world and you never know, maybe a guy like me could be crusing around on a 600cc machine on NH6. But that's a distant dream atleast now.
