Why? Why cant a person who does not have a right leg have a passion for superbiking?

Whats so 'going nuts' about it? I'm proud that he chose a Superbike over some expensive sedan or an SUV. If he's here and reading this, I salute your spirit....

Now this is shocking to me. What do you mean by Why would he want to do that??? not having a leg does't mean that the fuel of biking in you goes down the drain. or is it??? Do we buy better bikes only because they give you better speed as well? or is it only because of our passion for biking which forces us to move to the next step???

Sorry mate. could't resist. I'm off this discussion. i said what i felt. Period.

Anyways kudos to the guy for having those guts and passion for biking. Having a SBK, touching it, sitting on it's saddle and if given a chance riding it.... NO WORDS.

You are right. Even I'm right to some extent "maybe"...

End of the day, If I had one leg, I wouldn't be doing that, for sure! All I want is that fellow bikers should stay safe. When guys with 2 legs can't be 100% safe, isn't he just gambling with his life?

I mean, such crazy acceleration might crush him, at one distraction-induced twist of throttle, due to lack of Balance. No matter how hard he tries.

Reg. Spirit of biking, Our Passion's not about cc... He was a biker, whether 220 or 998 cc. And I still have respect for the guy, just that he should be safe.

The most interesting part is that he doesnt have a leg (right). Yes boss I am not doing any crack or pot but he doesn't have a leg. He is a member of Kurrupt Ryderz Group (Delhi). He has been featured in Bike India too. Delhi Traffic Police has issued a special Driving License to him too. Guess what??....

GUESS WHAT??

I met him today at Okhla PBK. He has bought an R1. No, still not doing any pot or crack. 2008 R1 he could not get 2009. But he has confirmed that HE HAS BOUGHT AN R1 & he has adviced me to keep a watch on the next issue of Bike India
Lolz I dont know about the leg, but he sure has the balls!
If anybody knows him from here, please pass on my personal salute...!

No one has the right to belittle anyones dream!

Let me recommend seeing the Worlds Fastest Indian movie to you... there was a good line for you in that movie...

I echo what Samarth said here... how many ever logics or emotions may rise supporting him, I can't seen to support this guy buying an R1!!!

well, I just wish that we haven't heard the full story.

There used to be a time when there was nothing in my life except motorcycles.

There used to be a time when i used to get really freaked out on thinking stuff like what would it be if i lose my leg's,or even my right arm ? How would i twist the throttle ? How would i shift gears ? Oh and i havent's even come close to sitting on my dream :O !I couldn't even think of ending my life without being able to ride one.

Well, i would in the end come to the conclusion, whatever shit happen's i just won't give up until i get to command a multi-cylindered two wheeler.Yes,this is all about how you as an induvidual would look upto it.Your Desire.Your inner motivation.
And i guess this Chap is just loaded with it.And i guess he won't give a damn whether you support him or not.

Thanks sabretoothe.

Work yourself away to getting a Superbike and you will see that your "Way of Life" will take another turn!

I wish Ken da I wish. But one day shall fulfil this dream of mine. Moreso in coming years I hope most SBK manufacturers will start production locally making prices of these motorcycles comparable with rest of the world and you never know, maybe a guy like me could be crusing around on a 600cc machine on NH6. But that's a distant dream atleast now.
